Breaking: Senior journalist Solomon Serwanjja quits NBS

Multi-award winning journalist Solomon Serwanjja: “I will now focus on my new role as the Executive Director @AfricanIIJ, the home of investigative journalism.”

Multi-award winning journalist Solomon Serwanjja has quit the Naguru based NBS Television.

Serwanjja announced his decision via his Twitter handle.

“On 31st July, I will be leaving @nbstv. It has been such an honour to serve for the last 6 years. Thank you @KKariisa and the entire @nextmediaug family for the support.”

He added: “I will now focus on my new role as the Executive Director @AfricanIIJ, the home of investigative journalism.”

Serwanjja is also a celebrated broadcast investigative journalist with 12 years of experience. He has worked in several newsroom including NBS, NTV, KTN, UBC as an investigative Journalist reporting ground breaking investigations that have contributed to public discourse and social change.

He is the winner of the 2019 BBC Komlar Dumor award, a prestigious award given to an outstanding journalist on the African continent.
