CCBA wins big at the Brand Africa Awards 2022 in Uganda

The National Chairman Brand Africa, Uganda and Managing Director, Publics Africa Communications, Joseph Kanyamunyu, on Monday handed over the two awards of the Most Admired Non-Alcoholic Beverage Brand in Uganda & the Most Admired Brand in Uganda at the recent Brand Africa 100: Africa’s Best Brands to Melkamu Abebe, General Manager, Coca-Cola Beverages Africa, Uganda.

Upon receiving the award, Kirunda Magoola, the Public Affairs and Communication Director at CCBA reiterated the company’s commitment to its brand purpose – ‘To Refresh Africa every day and continue making our continent a better place. He also lauded the organizers for their initiative to recognize brands that are making a difference in Africa.

“We draw our inspiration in being able to create meaningful impact in our communities while we provide refreshment to all our customers. It is amazing to see that effort recognized by reputable entities such as Brand Africa,” he said.

According to Thebe Ikalafeng, the Founder and Chairman of Brand Africa and Brand Leadership, Brand Africa top 100 awards seek to recognize brands that create a positive image for Africa, showcase its diversity, and drive its competitiveness.

“Despite the pandemic, African brands have increased their share of the Top 100 most admired brands by 4% to comprise 17% in the 2022 survey,” he noted.
